Issuance explained
Coins enter circulation through mining
Each valid block may create a subsidy up to the amount allowed for its block height. The successful miner also receives eligible transaction fees from that block. Nodes reject blocks that create more value than consensus rules permit.
The subsidy began at 50 SCASH and reduces by half every 210,000 blocks—approximately four years if average blocks remain near the ten-minute target. Calendar dates are estimates because block production varies.
Check issuance parameters against the chain parameters and the block subsidy implementation. These source links describe the linked repository; verify the version used by your node.
Maximum supply is not circulating supply
The 21 million figure is a long-term protocol maximum. Circulating and spendable supply at any moment depends on blocks already mined, lost keys, unspent rewards, and the methodology used by a market-data provider. Use the chain for issuance data and check how third parties define circulating supply.
What “no premine” means
The project states that there was no allocation created in advance for developers, venture investors, or a protocol treasury, and no developer tax is deducted from block rewards. Miners compete under the public proof-of-work rules for new issuance.

Protocol scarcity does not guarantee value
SCASH is an experimental digital asset. Market price, liquidity, exchange availability, mining profitability, software support, and regulatory treatment can change. This site does not provide investment, tax, or legal advice.
